“Craft” and “craftsmanship” are slowly regaining importance in our society. Studio E belives that the origins and quality of our wearable and useful art products are just as important as the origins and quality of your food, emphasized by the Farm-to-Table and Slow Food movements.
There would be no Studio E without our boys. The Boys are a small spinning flock, from which we produce the handspun yarns and fibers used to create many of the itmes you will find on this site. They are all boys because, well…sorry folks, but neutered boys make the softest fleece.
The Boys of Studio E: Alpacas:
First is Captain Jack Sparrow. He’s the leader of the herd, Chief protector, and food mooch.
Next, Delli. He’s a bit goofy looking, but don’t tell him I said so–he’s sensitive. Finally, Orion. He’s our resident worrier. His concerned hums keep everyone safe and alert.Shetland Sheep:
These two are the youngest of the bunch and are often to be found scampering and running about, or knocking heads with a resounding crack! The brown is Norman the Nefarious. He regularly plots to take over the farm, but is usually foiled by his adorable, but perhaps not genius buddy, Shuggah Boo.
Angora Goat: Last, but certainly not least, is our Old Man of the Farm, Paviroti. Pavi is a 13 year old Angora, and herd master. Like his namesake, he has a lovely singing voice, which he uses frequenty to let the others know when they are eating something or sitting someplace he consideres his personal property. This means all food, and all spaces (including my clothes).
